Ten years of SICAM, the International Exhibition of Components and Accessories for the Furniture Industry: a success renewed every year
Today (Tuesday 16th October) the 10th edition of SICAM opens, the International Exhibition of Components, Accessories and Half-finished products for the furniture industry that will see in the next four days the sector most qualified professionals reach Pordenone from all over the world. With 612 exhibitors from 33 foreign countries and from Italy bringing the technology and design products to the highest level in the world, what has just started is definitely the largest and most comprehensive edition in the whole history of SICAM, which this year reaches the milestone of the tenth edition.
A format that has been consolidated over the years and which has in its high-profile international relationships a truly unrivalled strong point: a total of 7,765 companies from 99 foreign countries were present in the past edition, as well as, of course, from all over Italy , an increase of more than 5% compared to 2016. These numbers are expected to be confirmed and overcome in the days of this year event.
There is a great expectation in this sense, with a significant novelty: the Exhibition Center of Pordenone has been integrated with an additional temporary structure, Hall 10, built specifically for SICAM. The requests for participation from all over the world and the needs of different companies to benefit from more surface (this year the exhibition covers  16,500 square meters) have made this extension necessary. It is a modern and functional structure of 3500 square meters, with 6.4 meters high walls, erected on the northern side of the Fair District.
